Project Overview
This turnkey project details the comprehensive spatial planning, custom cabinetry, and modular furniture configuration for a high-end apartment in Israel. The objective was to engineer a functional layout that accommodates both daily residential use and formal reception requirements, utilizing physical partitions and tailored seating solutions to define distinct zones within an open-plan architecture.
The Casual Lounge Area
The casual lounge is designed for daily interaction and media consumption. The seating arrangement features a modular curved sofa utilizing high-density polyurethane foam and a high-abrasion resistance fabric blend.
The media wall integrates a custom-built display cabinet with synchronized 4000K LED strip lighting for localized illumination. Slatted acoustic wall panels are installed adjacent to the cabinetry to mitigate sound reverberation and provide structural visual continuity.
The Formal Reception Space
To facilitate formal meetings and guest reception, this secondary living zone is equipped with Chesterfield-style tufted seating. This configuration provides a firmer seating posture suitable for business or formal engagements.
A critical component of this zone is the custom geometric partition screen. Constructed with a rigid metallic frame and precision-cut panels, the screen functions as a structural divider between the reception and dining areas, maintaining airflow and natural light penetration while ensuring physical zone separation. The center table utilizes an asymmetrical engineered stone top supported by a low-center-of-gravity base to maximize load-bearing stability.
The Dining Configuration
The dining sector features a 6-seater rectangular table with a reinforced carbon steel sub-frame. The ergonomic dining chairs are upholstered in durable synthetic leather.
A custom floating sideboard is wall-mounted to optimize floor clearance, facilitating automated cleaning devices. Above the sideboard, a polygonal geometric mirror is installed to manipulate optical depth and maximize ambient light reflection within the dining perimeter.
